Cookies used

  • Session cookies (so-called technical cookies)

The use of the so-called technical cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user's computer device and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow secure and efficient exportation of the website. The session cookies used on this website prevent having to resort to other IT techniques which are potentially harmful in terms of the confidentiality of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data.

  • Statistical cookies (so-called analytical cookies)

Every time a user visits the website, analytical software creates cookies anonymously. This allows us to monitor the number of users, pages viewed or time spent on a particular page. This website uses Google Analytics UA-62203357-2, a web statistics and analysis service offered by Google Inc.. Its aim is to identify which pages are most viewed by users/visitors to the website, how long they remained on the site and the geographical area where they came from. This information is processed solely for statistical purposes and in anonymous form. The information collected by Google Analytics, including the IP address of the user/visitor, is transmitted to the Google Inc. server in anonymous form. These cookies can never be used for the purpose of profiling or identifying particular users, but they are used exclusively for statistical purposes in aggregate form.

Third-Party cookies

While browsing the Website www.grupposapir.it, users may also receive cookies from different sites or web servers on their computer (so-called ‘third party’ cookies). This is because the website may contain elements such as, for instance, images, maps, specific links to web pages of third-party domains that reside on servers other than the one hosting the requested page. In other words, these cookies are set directly by managers of websites or servers different from the website www.grupposapir.it.

These cookies can be sent to the user's browser by other companies directly from their websites which can be accessed by browsing the website www.grupposapir.it. In such cases, Sapir is not held liable for the operation of these cookies, which are exclusively the responsibility of said third parties. As clarified by the Data Protection Authority: "The obligation to inform the user about the use of cookies and to eventually acquire prior consent lies with the manager of the site that uses them, as data controller. In the event that a website also allows the transmission of ‘third party’ cookies, the information and the acquisition of consent are normally the responsibility of the third party. It is necessary that the user is adequately informed, even if in the simplified manner required by law, when accessing the site that allows the storage of third-party cookies, or when accessing the contents provided by third parties and, in any case, before cookies are downloaded to the user’s computer device".
